A Prayer For Insaaf and A'dl

Ya Allaah, Ya Zul-Jalal Wal-Ikram

Lord of Majesty and Bounty

There is no god but Allaah

The Great, the Clement

There is no God but Allaah

The Lord of Grace, the Supreme

All praise is for Allaah

Originator of the heavens and the earth

Ya Allaah, Ya Hakeem

I entrust my affairs to Thee

Surely Thou sees Thy servants

I depend on Thy Favor, Thy Generosity

Thou art the most Generous, the most Just

I ask for Thine Blessings upon my father

I beg Thee to make manifest what is truth

And what is conjured by evil doers

For Thou art the best of all to lay open the truth

Therefore judge Thou between him and them

And deliver him from their imprisonment

Ya Allaah, Ya Muhaymin

I ask Thee to take him under Thine Protection

Make him not a trial for the evil doing folk

Save as by Thine Mercy, Ya Khabeer

Help him against those who deny the truth

I ask Thee for Thy Justice, to give him Insaaf and A'dl

Against the evil doers, the unjust, the corrupt

Verily Thou art Allaah, Knower of the secret, the manifest

Only Thou wilt judge between Thy servants 

As to that wherein they differ

Ya Allaah, Ya A'lim, I seek refuge in Thee

Lest I ask of Thee aught whereof I have no knowledge

Unless Thou forgives me and have mercy upon me

I shall be of those who are ruined

Ya Allaah, Ya A'dl, all praise is for Thee

Lord of the Worlds, the Best of Judges

Glory be to Thee, besides Thou there is none

There is no injustice in Thy judgement

No unfairness in Thy disposal of our affairs

You are alone the Almighty, the truly Wise

Verily you have power over all things

Rabbi h'ukmu bil h'aqq. 

In Thankfulness For The Wind Beneath Our Wings

Ya Allaah, Ya Wahidul Qahhar

There is no god except Allaah

The All-Mighty, the Forbearing

There is no god except Allaah

Lord of the Mighty Throne

There is no god except Allaah

Lord of the Heavens

Lord of the earth and 

Lord of the Noble Throne

Ya Allaah, Ya Rahman

Thou art sufficient for me

And Thou art the Best Helper

I thank Thee for Blessing me

With a gracious loving being as my mother

A mother who with Thy guidance

Bred nurtured educated twelve siblings

She was our rock in all storms

Our comfort in distress and illness

Our guiding hand unto Thee

She was the wind beneath our wings

That carried us through the skies

Ya Allaah, Ya Raheem

Thy command over life is forever executed

And Thy decree over us is Just

Thy decree is the most Merciful

Thou art the most Compassionate

Thou knoweth her best better than we

O Master of Life and Soul

Verily unto Thee we belong

And unto Thee shall we return

Ya Allaah, Ya Azizul Ghaffar

Thee alone do we worship, Thee alone do we ask for help

Ya Allaah, receive my mother's soul honorably

And take her under Thy protection

Forgive her and save her 

From the trial of the grave and the torment of the fire

Have Mercy upon her, make her grave spacious, and

Grant her entry into Thy Garden

Thou alone art the Forgiver, the Merciful

Ya Allaah, Ya Azizul Hakeem

Blessed be Thy name my Lord

Full of Majesty, Bounty and Honor

To Thee be praise, first and last

Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds

For Thee is the command

And unto Thee shall we return

HasbunAllaah wa ni'mal wakeel

Ni'mal waulaa wa ni'mal naseer.
